巴陵石化以持续技术创新推动产品结构调整，以绿色环保、高附加值的差异化产品参与市场竞争。今年前11个月，该公司合成橡胶产业链产品产销稳中有增，继续保持盈利，累计产销SBS、SIS、SEBS等热塑橡胶产品16.8万吨，同比增加两万多吨。

12月2日，第十届全国人大常委会副委员长盛华仁到巴陵石化调研时，专程到9月新建成投产的国内最大特种热塑橡胶装置现场参观。他高度评价了巴陵石化的技术创新实践，勉励企业发挥现有品种和特色优势，推动绿色低碳发展，以实际行动贯彻落实党的十八大精神。

做市场风向标

作为国内最大和技术力量最强的热塑橡胶生产研发企业，巴陵石化现有热塑橡胶SBS、SIS、SEBS等6个系列50多个牌号产品，年产能近30万吨，规模位居全球第二、亚洲第一。

近年来，巴陵石化坚持自主创新、产销研紧密结合，力求“生产一代、开发一代、预研一代、储备一代”，在热塑橡胶领域已申请专利39项，上报中国石化专有技术30项，其中SBS、SEBS和SIS生产技术被列为中国石化专有核心技术。

在巴陵石化2012年度科技进步奖中，合成橡胶事业部就有医用SEBS新产品、充油型溶聚丁苯橡胶（SSBR）新产品、印刷胶片用SIS新牌号、高硬度高强度高透明SBS新牌号开发等6项成果获奖，占获奖总数的五分之一强。
